Junk by Day Gone by Night was started by Terry Pilgrim, a family man with 2 boys who was born and raised by his grandparents and single mother in Pontiac, MI.

Terry is a carpenter by trade and has a strong set of family values and incredible work ethic. He has always taken great pride in helping people, especially his grandmother and mother, with any miscellaneous jobs, home projects, or anything that needed to be done around their home.

Terry and his family have a love for martial arts. In 2019, he earned his black belt in Small Circle Jiu Jitsu, and both he and his sons practice daily. His participation in the dojo does not stop with just practicing martial arts. He has worked on building them a new set of stairs, maintaining the property, cleaning the mats, and countless of other projects.

Friends and neighbors would take notice of his skills and workmanship and not only hired him, but were always happy to recommend him to their friends and family. He would receive calls from people that needed help with a wide range of things around their home and/or business, and he was always willing to take on any job.

Terry never limited himself on what he could or could not do for his community, so his services included everything from grass cutting, mulch delivery and application, furniture/appliance removal, home repairs, demo work, deck removal, pool/hot tub removal, house cleaning, hoarder/eviction cleanouts, power washing and so much more.

If something needs to be done, Terry is the one to call.

Realizing that there was a need for a company that offered a diverse set of services to help both home owners and local businesses, Terry started Junk by Day Gone by Night knowing it could fill that need for their community. Today, Junk by Day Gone by Night has become a one-stop shop for high quality, affordable services.

One of the things he is most proud of is that, because of hard work and dedication, the majority of their clients have come to them through word-of-mouth and ended up becoming returning clients who also help spread the word. This has given Junk by Day Gone by Night the wonderful opportunity to not only grow, but to further serve their community by creating jobs and hiring a dedicated team of employees.
